Working and Workshops

Here's the progress on my 'Tree of Life.' Time
to start on the foliage and to make a decision about the inside of the disc. I plan to free-machine in a gold-green colour, but am not sure about the design yet.





Above is the detail on the rim of the disc.
I did a workshop on the weekend using paper casting.

Images are created by wetting handmade paper and pressing it into moulds. Great fun. Here is a wall hanging I have started using paper-castes, silk paper and panne velvet.
