What I've been up to...

I've been a busy busy girl. Here are some of the bowls I've been working on for my exhibition. Sewing felted bowls under the sewing machine was interesting. Gradually getting the hang of maneuvering the bowl around to get the needle in the right spot. Also my first go at coiling. Pam from my embroiderer's guild group showed me how to do it neatly.

Thanks Britt!
It's been quite cool problem solving the design for each bowl. Have managed to break 3 machine needles whilst mashing them under my machine.

P.S Nice to meet a fellow Aussie! I live in Victorian but have been to WA the last two years for a holiday and have loved what I have seen. Also visited The Thread Studio in Perth and fell in love with it!

My husband and I were in Melbourne recently...we are definitely lucky with the weather here in Perth!
The thread studio.....you could mortgage the house and spend it ALL at the thread studio :)
