Watercolour sketchbook

I have a sketchbook/scrapbook that I load up with inspiring imagery, colour combinations, photos, plus doodles and painting. I use it as a no pressure place to practise techniques, try our colour combos and to understand how someone else has achieved a particular effect.

I'm currently psyching myself up to paint a series of collagraphs and am a bit out of practise with watercolours. So here's what I've been doing to limber up.

Isos March 2012

Footage from almost a year ago. Small days surfing Iso's at Cottesloe. You know what it's like. A lot of waiting and scrambling for the occasional pearler. Wish we had somewhere with looooong, peeling longboard waves...

Greenhead

Pretty fun little weekend away to Greenhead. Unfortunately we couldn't go out with the sealions as it was stormy. We did have a nice little cave walk though.

The Injidup Surf Shack

Another nice weekend away on a windy, stormy weekend back in November. No surf for us, but we did have a very relaxing getaway and a spectacular view of the storm blowing across the bay.
